I am a backpacking, photography and outdoor fanatic based in Salt Lake City, Utah. A backpack, a tent, a fishing pole and a camera are the ingredients to many of the most memorable experiences in my life. I don’t claim to be an expert photographer - just a guy with a camera trying to capture some of the awe that surrounds us.


My days are filled with the call of the wild, never waivering in it's desire to lure me out. It is not only the mountains themselves or the divinely beautiful scenery of the outdoors that I love but the abscense of noise and distractions of the city that supress the inner voice. The reality that out there, it's just you, the creator and creation itself.


When out in the great wide open, I am usually alone. That's the way I work best, alone with my thoughts. In total and complete awe of the natural beauty, life in general and just how perfectly it all works in harmony together.


What I want from photography is to entice you, and I, to GET OUT AND LIVE. A good hike consisting of some degree of struggle and triumph topped off with a fine cup of tea under a blood red sky is medicine for what ails.
